Galette crust
Komponenty:
1 1/Four cups (156g) plain flour
1 Tbsp granulated sugar
1/Čtyři lžičky soli
1/Three cup + 1 Tbsp (100g) vegan butter
1/Four cup (60mL) ice chilly water

Strawberry vanilla filling

1/Three cup almond meal
2 punnets (500g) strawberries, gullet and lower in half
2 Tbsp cornflour
1 tsp lemon zest
1/Four cup (60ml) Maple Syrup
1 tsp Pure vanilla extract

Methodology.

1. MAKE DOUGH. Add flour, sugar and salt to a meals processor and pulse to mix. Add butter, pulse till small crumbs type then, with the meals processor working, stream within the water and course of solely till a big ball varieties.

2. Scrape out dough (a rubber spatula is really helpful) and rapidly type right into a small disc. Wrap tightly in plastic wrap and set within the fridge for 1+ hours.

3. PREPARE THE FILLING. In the meantime, mix all the filling components, besides the almond meal, in a bowl and put aside.

4. CREATE THE GALETTE. After 1 hour, take away dough from the fridge and preheat oven to 200 C. Place dough between 2 sheets of baking paper, and punctiliously roll out to a rectangle. Take away the highest sheet of baking paper, and place the dough (nonetheless on the underside piece of baking paper) on a baking tray.

5. Unfold almond meal over the dough, leaving a 5cm boarder after which pour the strawberry filling combine on prime.

6. Now, fold up the edges of the galette. The dough will likely be a little bit bit sticky, so use a small, sharp knife to peel the sting away from the baking paper. After you’ve gotten folded over the primary edge, rotate the galette, do one other fold, and contine till you are again to the place you began. Brush the highest crust in further melted butter, olive oil or milk them sprinkle with uncooked sugar (optionally available).

7. BAKE. Add galette to the oven and bake for 10 minutes. Flip all the way down to 175 C, then bake an additional 30-35 minutes. Serve instantly with icecream.
