Delicata Squash and Chickpea Masala by betterfoodguru ❤This Indian impressed dish brings on the warmth with garam masala, cumin and smoky paprika. The wealthy ginger, onion and garlic infused tomato sauce compliments the sweetness of the delicata squash. It’s beautiful.

Components: 1 delicate squash minimize in half then sliced in half inch sections
1 onion diced
Three cloves garlic minced
2 tbsp contemporary ginger minced
1 15-oz. plechovka scezené cizrny

1 tsp garam masala
half tsp coriander
half tsp cumin
half tsp smoked paprika
1/Four tsp cayenne pepper
1 tbsp floor turmeric
2 šálky vody
1/Four cup cilantro chopped
1. In a deep sauté or wok, warmth oil on medium then add onion, garlic and ginger and prepare dinner for 2-Three minutes till aromatic
2. Add delicata squash, season with salt and prepare dinner for 5-7 minutes stirring sometimes to present the squash an opportunity to brown. By now the onions must be browning as effectively.
3. Push the seasoned delicate to at least one facet to create space and add the cumin seeds and prepare dinner for 2-Three minutes. Stir into the remaining.
4. Push to the facet once more and add the tomato paste to caramelize for 2-Three minutes then add the water and stir effectively.
5. Add the chickpeas and the remainder of the dry spices and produce to a boil, then flip to a simmer and let prepare dinner till the delicata is fork tender and the masala sauce is thick and gravy-like in consistency (round 10 minutes)
6. Garnish with cilantro and black pepper and serve with rice.
